 Peony Festival：

“The red peony's green leaves are quietly spreading, and the red peony's flowers are faint. In the face of withering and Peony's sorrow, will you know what the peony thinks?” A breeze blowing with a gust of fragrance greeting the noses which makes people feel relaxed and happy.

According to Mr.Wang Jiansen, General Manager of the Garden Tourism Company, the southern people of China usually go to Luoyang in Henan province and Heze in Shandong province and other northern areas for the peony appreciation. In 2010, more than 40 excellent varieties of peony were introduced to Garden Village Scenic Area from Heze in Shandong province and Luoyang in Henan province, and tens of thousands of peonies were cultivated in the past few years in order to make the people living in Jinhua appreciate the beautiful peony flowers at home. In March and April every year, the peony flowers here bloom in a race when the visitors are enjoying and photographing the flowers in the Blossom Garden while appreciating the magnificent scenery of peonies with their fragrance, feasting their eyes and indulging in pleasures without stop.
